Drew Valley Newsletter

Laura RossHi, I am Laura Ross and am taking over Newsletter duties for Drew Valley Civic Association. I’ve been the website admin for about a year now and am a professional graphic designer who has lived in the neighborhood since 1992. I have a husband named Dwight Lyman, and two daughters — one who lives in Melbourne, Australia and the other who goes to college at Georgia State. We also have a Labrador-pitbull mix named Copernicus and three cats named Casper Wyoming, Audubon, and Sparrow.

Expect a brand new design soon, and also for the most part, after the new issue comes out, for the most part our newsletter will be delivered electronically so that we will cut back on paper trash flying about in the neighborhood and to save trees. If you still want a newsletter delivered to you, just let us know. We will also have printed copies in various drop points in the neighborhood.

Soon, I will set up a subscription page so that you can subscribe to the new newsletter.

I’m really excited to be taking over newsletter duties! Let me know if you have any suggestions or concerns.

Sounds great Laura! Shelby and I look forward to seeing the new format. As a Realtor, new to the neighborhood, I would be happy to offer you my assistance, or provide content regarding the current real estate market or even my own personal experiences if you like. Just let me know what I can do to help.

      Oh wow, that’s so awesome!

Do you have good photos for the newsletter or could you take some? Since we are going to mostly have this as an online issue, we’ll be able to have a lot of color. I’m very excited!

Also some articles about taking care of your house or garden in the winter months will be useful. And springtime is coming!
